Gold Points System

Chemistry/ AC Gold Point (simplified) Reward System:
How to Earn Gold Points (GP):
Tests and Quizzes: a 91 will earn 1 GP, 92 = 2 GP, 93 = 3 GP up to 12 (maximum possible on any test is 102)

Fits of creativity = payment varies, see specific side quests.

Available Side Quests:
Create a well-drawn symbol for chemistry GPs. 10 GP
Suggest a viable idea for new item in GP store. 1 GP each up to 10 GP

Redeeming GP:
Each week you’ll need to decide whether you want to keep your points to yourself or donate them to the class. Individual rewards may be “cheaper” but class rewards may be “better.” At the very end of class, you may redeem your GPs for candy. If we don’t get time during class, you may check back during lunch or after school or write me a note and I’ll prep your purchase for the next class.
If you choose to donate your GP to the class, include a clear note in the margin of nearest Do Now.

Mint = 5 GP
Candy bar of your choice = 100 GP (within reason)
Title “Element Master” = 20 GP (prereq. Must achieve 90% on all element quizzes.)
Title “Element Grand Master” = 20 GP (prereq. Must achieve 95% or more on all element quizzes.)
Title “Quiz Whiz” = 20 GP (prereq. Must achieve 90% on at least 5 quizzes.)
Title “Test Titan” = 20 GP (prereq. Must achieve 90% on at least 3 tests.)
Title “Homework Hero” = 20 GP (prereq. Must have had at least 10 HW’s ready on time.)
Title “Minty Fresh” = 20 GP (prereq. Must have purchased at least 5 mints from GP store.)

Class treat = # class members x 75 GP
Class pizza party = # class members x 100 GP
